Thank You for This Holy Week

​Holy Week 2020 was unusual, but the Archdiocese of Toronto is grateful to all those who found creative ways to celebrate this most sacred season.

Some notable examples our resilient spirit during this Holy Week include:

• More than 300,000 views of Masses and services at St. Michael’s Cathedral Basilica on various online platforms throughout Holy Week.
• All those who visited the Spiritual Resources section on the archdiocese's COVID-19 site.
• About 30 interviews with major media outlets given by archdiocesan staff, priests and Cardinal Thomas Collins, Archbishop of Toronto.
• More than 60 parishes in the Archdiocese of Toronto posting Masses, services and reflections online.
• All of the archdiocese’s priests who continue to celebrate the Mass daily for the intentions of the people.
• Cardinal Collins’ Easter reflection going worldwide thanks to coverage by Vatican News.
• Almost 5,000 children and parents taking part in a Facebook Live chat with Cardinal Thomas Collins.
• Everyone who reached out to help the vulnerable.
• And the ongoing tremendous work of the archdiocese’s media partners.
